As stated in the first sentence of this article, "Food is a fundamental human right, much like air and water." During the final chapters of The Food of the Gods the ethics of food becomes the focal point of H.G. Wells novel. In philosophy, ethical dilemmas are defined as situations in which an agent stands under two conflicting moral requirements, none of which overrides the other. The American hunger crisis is one such dilemma. Read and annotate the following article by Arohi Pathak, Ryan Richards, and Marc Jarsulic.
