We will watch some key film excerpts in class that showcase the theme of air/atmosphere use and pollution.

1. Please make a list of 5 environmentalist questions that you see portrayed in the film and note the time-stamp for each of your questions/issues.
2. Write a short paragraph about your understanding of each of those questions or issues.
3. Post your questions and paragraphs to the Course Discussion Forum before class.

SLO related to the air, atmosphere, pollution, the global commons, and extractive relationships. Students in Development of International Thought (INR 4013) will analyze the roles and functions of air and atmosphere on Earth. At the same time, they will question the factors that make such resources readily available and the different pollution levels across different geoscapes. Students will relate the role of air and the atmosphere to other analogous resources necessary for daily life, and the extractive relationships which both affect the quality of air and make such resources possible.
